WEATHER UPDATE: October 1, 2026 at 12:30 P.M.

Dear Boerne ISD Community,

Boerne ISD is closely monitoring weather conditions throughout the day.

In consultation with the National Weather Service and local emergency management partners, current reports indicate rain will lessen this afternoon.

In an abundance of caution, the following adjustments have been made:

• Athletic and fine arts events scheduled for this evening have been cancelled.

• Coaches and sponsors will communicate directly with their teams and groups.

• Afterschool clubs and meetings will not take place.

• Fabra ES Boys and Girls Club After-School Childcare has been canceled.

At this time, YMCA After-School Childcare will operate on schedule. We will monitor and communicate any updates if needed.

As with any weather event, please use caution when traveling.

We will share updates if needed through boerneisd.net, Boerne ISD social media, messages via ParentSquare, and local media outlets.

The safety of students and staff remains our top priority. We are grateful for our Boerne ISD community and appreciate everyone’s care and cooperation.
