The first three weeks of school have flown by, and we love watching our students build new friendships! We're one big family at FORES!

Grandparents Day Pre-Check

Calling all grandparents! Our annual Grandparents Day celebration will be held during lunch on September 10th and 11th. Guests are invited to each with their child during the child's designated lunch time on either day. To accommodate the large number of visitors, we ask that our guests "pre-check" using the link below:
*Reminder: each visitor must have a separate form
 

All Pro Dads Pre-Check

We are excited to kick off our All Pro Dads on Friday, September 11th at 6:45am.This is a wonderful opportunity for Dads and their children to get together once a month! Come for food, connections, and a great time!

ROAD CONSTRUCTION & DETOURS COMING SOON!

Attention parents: Dietz-Elkhorn will soon become a construction zone with new traffic directions. Please see the information here to learn more about the detours and new routes you may need to take in the coming weeks. UPDATE: Construction has been pushed back to begin Sept. 8th

What's Happening with FORES PTO?

  • Grandparents Day is almost here and PTO is hosting our annual luncheon on September 10th and 11th. Please be sure to complete the Pre-Check Form.
  • Now is the time to join PTO and become part of all the fun. Class incentives are set and the challenge is on to see which class has the most members joining the fastest! Membership drive ends MONDAY!
  • Get your Mustang spirit wear for Monday and Friday spirit days!
  • Our first Spirit Sticks sale day is coming up this Thursday! Send those dollar bills during lunch for your child to add to their Spirit Stick collection!

DEADLINES TO REMEMBER:
August 31: PTO Membership drive
September 1st: Mustang Market Pre-Orders and Sponsorships due

What is a Spirit Stick?

Spirit Sticks are a fun collection item of our FORES Mustangs. Several students keep these as keychain tokens to show off their hobbies and interests. Teachers often give these out as rewards as well. They are a $1 each and are sold once a month in the cafeteria. Save the date!

Join us for National Night Out on Tuesday, October 6th, from 5:00 PM–8:00 PM!
This year, we’re excited to invite our neighborhoods to participate in our first-ever centralized National Night Out Block Party! The goal is to bring our community together for an evening of fun, fellowship, and building relationships with our neighbors and first responders.

  • BHS is holding a Veterans Appreciation Game on Friday, September 18th.
  • This week we have information about our FORES students becoming more involved in the high school football games at both BHS and CHS!
